All Saints School is a Church
of England Voluntary Aided School and as such has close
links with All Saints Church and the
Diocese
of St Albans.
During the academic year the church is used for
school services and as part of the curriculum pupils visit
and study the building and life of the church. The clergy and people of
Datchworth support the
school as governors and parents and the lives of village, school and
church remain positively intertwined.
The vista of the church provides both a symbolic
and picturesque backdrop to the school and in particular to the
recently
(2002) extended play areas.
