How I enjoyed reading Annette’s ‘Lesotho Re-visited’ letter and hearing how well things are going with Rev Makibi, Rose, Walter etc.  It is also good to know that the magazine gets through each month.

The article from John Austin giving excerpts of the 1911 Census of Datchworth & Bragbury End etc.is also enlightening.  It is interesting to note how long the Rev. Mr. Williamson was rector for All Saints! 

A Quiz Night is the next ‘fun raising’ effort for the new church hall and I hope this will prove to be another successful evening.

I hope there will be some budding bellringers out there to boost the numbers.  A good pool of ringers really would be marvellous for the Church.  

And isn’t it good news that the Kumars are at last settled regarding our village shop and have a future here. The months of uncertainty following Joe’s death must have been very trying for them. Now we must make sure that they stay in business by patronizing Datchworth Stores.
